160th Session of the GCC Ministerial Council
160th Session of the GCC Ministerial Council between the GCC and the Republic of Turkey and the Republic of Yemen
Their Highnesses and Excellencies the Foreign Ministers of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries held the 160th session of the GCC Ministerial Council meeting on Sunday (June 9, 2024), in the Qatari capital, Doha.
The meeting was headed by His Excellency Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar, President of the current session of the Ministerial Council, in the attendance of Their Highnesses and Excellencies the Foreign Ministers of the GCC countries, and with the participation of His Excellency Mr Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi, Secretary General of the GCC.
During the meeting, a number of reports were discussed regarding the follow-up on the implementation of the decisions issued by the Supreme Council of the Cooperation Council in its 44th summit held in Doha last December.
Additionally, topics related to joint Gulf action and several regional and international topics related to dialogues and strategic relations between the GCC countries and international countries and blocs were discussed. The meeting also addressed memorandums and reports submitted by ministerial committees.
