HH the Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa al-Thani has called for a global design that provides “opportunities for all and achieves justice to all parties”.
In his opening remarks at the plenary session of the World Economic Forum Global Redesign Summit at the Sheraton last night, the Emir said: “We are among those who believe that we will not find an alternative to the idea of a global market. But the key issue is to have respect for the laws of that market above the selfish interests of the powers and the unbridled ambitions of individuals.”
