About the PCOC
The Permanent Committee for Organizing Conferences (PCOC) was established in 2004 by decree no.22 under His Excellency the former Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs to create a global platform for dialogue through conferences and summits.   Since then, PCOC has worked closely with ministries, officials and government stakeholders to ensure the State of Qatar fosters dialogue through hosting regional and international conferences, meetings, summits and forums.
In the past, PCOC has facilitated dialogue with the goal of solving on-going global challenges and disputes. Prioritizing cooperation, PCOC has hosted countless events covering a wide range of topics, including political, economic, commercial, and scientific collaboration.
PCOC Objectives:
• Coordinate between government entities in Qatar to organize conferences held by or entrusted to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
• Prepare for and execute all logistics required throughout the event to ensure a successful delivery.
• Propose event budgets in coordination with other government entities and stakeholders.
• Organize media and videography access, as well as organizing live-streaming and interview capabilities where needed.

We are proud to be a major hub of organizing effective conferences in both our region and internationally. Doha has always been a mediator and an advocator for conflict resolution, as our foreign politics, has always succeeded in resolving crucial challenges. As part of Qatar’s 2030 Vision, we are responsible for creating a healthy and encouraging environment, alluring decision-makers, key players, think-tanks and media outlets into a discussion and an agreement session resulting into positive outcomes for on-going conflicts on the world’s agenda. We create a platform for mindful and comprehensive communication to exchange ideas and discuss resolutions to help make our world a better place.
